Another comic for the week! I’ll be drawing my next comic in a stream!

In this comic, Risa writes out her name in kanji, which is a traditional set of Chinese hanzi that has been re-purposed for the Japanese language. A lot of the characters have the same meanings back and forth if you know a bit of Japanese and Chinese. She’s a bit disappointed at the fact that she doesn’t really know much of her language apart from writing her name out. It’s the same in my case. I can write out my name in Chinese, but beyond that, I’m just as illiterate as Risa. Because of that, Shu has decided to help teach Risa! Even if it’s only a little bit at a time, Risa would be returning to her family’s roots doing so.
