Another fishing comic for the week!
The feeling of having a fish tug on your line is very satisfying. For some people, just that one thrill is often enough. In many countries, a lot of recreational fishers practice catch-and-release. If you know what you are doing, this is often safe for the fish, allowing the fish to swim away and live on. Knowing what kind of hooks to use, and how long the fish can stay above water are important. It would be a waste if the fish somehow died after releasing it.
Of course, there’s also the option of keeping it and saving it for dinner.
