One more comic for the week!

Just like Risa, Terry also got a locker full of cards and gifts. Although little is known about Terry, I’d always imagined him to be one of the more “popular” guys in school, someone who is stereotypically athletic and charming. I rarely show these kids in school, so I never really had the chance to show how popular he can be. Like Risa, I’d imagine Terry to be popular among both girls and boys in that school, or at least the easily impressionable ones.

In this comic, Risa wants to speak with Terry one-on-one. Of course, the little dilemma that Terry has led him to ask Risa about borrowing text books for the day. In many schools, students use their lockers to hold up text books. If they are not easily accessible, it’s common to lend one from a friend.
