Hi everyone! I’m back with another comic for the week! This one is a special comic too. It’s the first comic that I’ve produced using a brand new tablet that just recently came in. I’ve decided to switch things up and go with an XP-Pen tablet for this upgrade, after remaining loyal with Wacom tablets for well over a decade. My 12 year old Cintiq 24HD has aged gracefully over the many years of use. However, with mounting issues and replacement pens being increasingly difficult to find cheaply, I think it was time to upgrade to a new gen of tablets. This was something that I had initially wanted to do back in 2019 or so, but decided to wait as I saw brands like XP-Pen and others slowly, but most certainly, catch up to the likes of Wacom. I think this time, they got it right.
In this comic, Yogurt is racing down the track. She watches as her friends make the corner in front of her. Staring straight ahead, Yogurt anticipates the turn, and maneuvers accordingly. However, at the speed she was turning, and the angle of attack on the crest, she finds the steering wheel fighting wildly against her efforts. The amount of strength she needs to make the turn without losing control of the kart becomes a delicate balance of wit and feel. The wheel begins to overpower Yogurt as it catches her off guard, but she still manages to hang on and make the turn.
