Hi everyone! It’s here! Comic #2000, or as I’d like to call it Y2K (Yogurt 2000)! It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m really excited to have reached a big milestone like this. 2000 comics is not at all a small feat, as it was something that took me shy of 20 years to hit with persistence. To celebrate, I’ll be doing an illustration over the weekend or so that I will stream and chat over. In the meantime, I will simply publish the comic like any other comic. It’ll give me some time to think about what to draw for that special illustration.

In this comic, Risa and her friends are walking around and checking out the stalls along the street. They’re captivated by the sight and smell of grilled delights and snacks. It can be hard to pick something to eat, especially when there are so many choices. Yogurt suggests the hashimaki stand, a Japanese delight. However, something like this can be pretty heavy to have right at the start! It’s a savoury pancake/crepe, serve with a variety of toppings, cabbage, meats, and sauces.
